Defence Solutions Ltd personnel are professional engineers, logisticians and IT specialists with extensive knowledge of the supply support chain with in excess of 120 years experience gained through direct involvement in the Global Defence industry from within the Uniformed Services.

Defence Solutions always works to achieve agreed deliverables and KPI’s of our clients and the organisations they supply, aligning suppliers’ strategies with those of key decision makers. This is the cornerstone of our accreditation to ISO 9001:2000 with BSI and as such we maintain appropriate records supported by an accredited audit trail. Additionally we adopt the PRINCE II project management methodology using recognised/certified practitioners and proven software tools when dealing with large bespoke projects.

The company also supports public sector programmes. Two recent projects fully demonstrate our capabilities.

• The first was working in conjunction with NEPIC to deliver an Innovation and Technology Transfer project which had been funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) via the Yorkshire Government Office. It was completed successfully in Dec 07 with Defence Solutions Ltd being responsible for identifying and assisting 60 companies.
• The second was in providing support to 175 SMEs within the Yorkshire and Humber Objective 2 areas, to deliver business improvement solutions, non defence market awareness, quality, environmental solutions/awareness and website enhancements.

We have been successful in assisting with securing approx £1.7m of public sector funding grant for a commercial maritime alliance.

We take great pride in assisting Small to Medium Enterprises and have been fundamental in providing support to such companies. This support has been recognised in Defence Solutions Ltd winning business awards in 2006 and 2007and runner up in 2008.
